Zelda contest entry

For a contest held by , theme of LinkXMalon.

Link leaves Lonlon Ranch to do battle with Ganon, and Malon waits and... worries I guess.

I figured all the other entries would be like... Link sitting with Malon... Link and Malon walking together... Link and Malon kissing... Link and Malon sexing.... whatever, so did something kinda hinting at romance instead of shoving it in your face. Hopefully it's obvious enough to count for the contest though :3

Background mainly done in opencanvas 1.1 (Holy shit, Pargile did a background :0) except the death mountain ring which I forgot and added in photoshop, and the dust from Epona's slow looking galloping. I've never drawn a horse before. 8D Galloping is hard to draw with 0 experience and internets that are so dumb you can't look for a ref.

Backgorund was a screenshot from lon lon ranch's gate that I screenshotted, doodled over, and painted over the doodle, so it's probably a bit inaccurate as I forgot what a lot of my doodles meant. :3

Lol, Malon's hair is like five layers. XD LINK is like five layers. Epona's like... 2 'cause I got bored.. 8D oh well.


BTW. I had to save the background as a JPEG 'cause opencanvas wouldn't publish it as a BMP. OC sucks at JPEGs so... the quality's crap. =/ can't do any better with it though.
